Ze Yu United Development Co., Ltd. ("we") develops md Reader AIO ("the app"). This statement explains how the app handles your data.
Summary: The app does not collect your personal data, does not upload your documents, and does not collect usage data. The app has no ads and no analytics tools.
1. Data stored on your computer
The following data stays on your computer, and we cannot access it:
- Your documents and exported files: stored where you choose and managed by you.
- Settings: for example, recently opened folders, the theme, the display language, label settings, and folders for which you chose to always load remote images.
- Temporary copies of unsaved changes: to recover your changes if the app crashes or your computer shuts down unexpectedly, the app keeps a temporary copy of unsaved content. It is deleted when you save or discard the changes, and is kept for no more than 7 days.
- Error logs: information such as error codes, the app version, and the operating system, used to find problems. Error logs do not contain the content of your documents. Each file is limited to 5 MB, and up to 3 files are kept for no more than 30 days.
When you uninstall the app, the settings, temporary copies, and error logs are deleted. Your documents and exported files are not deleted.
2. Network connections
The app does not normally connect to the internet. It connects to a website only to download images when a document contains remote images and you agree to load them:
- Only encrypted HTTPS connections are used, and no cookies are sent.
- Those websites receive ordinary connection information (such as your IP address) and handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not receive this information.
- Downloaded images are kept only in memory and are cleared when you close the app.
3. Microsoft Store
The app is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Purchases, payments, and the free trial are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We do not receive your payment information. Microsoft may provide us with aggregated statistics (such as the number of downloads and sales) and with crash reports sent according to your Windows settings, which we use to improve the app.
4. Contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and the content of your message only to reply to you and resolve your request.
