MCU Lets the Command Post See, Hear and Understand.NEW
TAK (Team Awareness Kit) is a common operating picture used by agencies in many countries: field teams on ATAK phones and command posts on WinTAK share positions, markers and messages on the same map.
Ze Yu MCU adds what TAK does not have — multi-party video conferencing, live UAV video, radio voice, and on-premises Chinese–English translation. MCU joins as a standard TAK account, with no changes to the TAK Server and no ATAK plugins, so the field and the command post keep their familiar tools while seeing the same picture and understanding each other.

TAK Map in the Meeting Room

The command post shares its WinTAK screen into the meeting as a regular participant. With Ze Yu MCU's Smart Seat Assignment, the map stays top-left, the UAV top-right and units below — tiles never jump when someone speaks, and the layout reapplies automatically when the meeting restarts.

Once a UAV or phone streams into MCU, the feed is also registered in the TAK video list: ATAK phones and WinTAK open it with a tap, while the situation-room display shows it in a fixed tile. Streams recover automatically after a signal loss.
Two-Way Chinese–English Translation
TAK ChatChinese translation that TAK itself does not have.
Every sentence spoken in the meeting is sent to all ATAK / WinTAK users as a TAK chat message with the original and the translation, leaving a bilingual record. English typed in TAK chat appears in the meeting captions in Chinese — and as voice for those who turn it on.
Radios in the Meeting

Handheld radios join the meeting through a standard interface: the room hears the radio and sees bilingual captions, while English from the meeting or from ATAK is translated into Chinese and transmitted over the radio once the channel is clear.

and Rescue
Rescuers report positions and mark trapped persons in ATAK, and the command post map updates instantly. UAV footage appears on both the command-post display and the rescuers' phones, with the map top-left, the UAV top-right and units below — one screen for the whole picture.

Our side speaks Chinese on the radio; the command post hears the original and sees bilingual captions, and allied ATAK phones receive the English. Allied forces reply in English — by voice or typed in ATAK — and our radios hear it in Chinese. Everything stays in your own server room.

TAK Integration FAQ
No. Ze Yu MCU connects to your server with a standard TAK account (certificate), just like one more WinTAK. Field users keep their existing ATAK with no plugins.
We have tested with the official TAK Server version 5.8 together with ATAK and WinTAK. MCU uses TAK's standard encrypted connection and message format; for other versions, we can first verify in your environment with a test account.
No. Speech recognition, translation and speech synthesis all run on the Ze Yu MCU server, and the TAK Server is on-premises too. The whole system can run in a fully disconnected network.
Off-the-shelf analog handheld radios have been tested on real equipment, with no modification to the radio. Digital or encrypted radios can connect through the vendor's standard voice gateway, with no changes on the MCU side. Frequencies and transmissions must comply with local radio regulations.
We provide a military glossary that applies only to designated situation rooms, radios and TAK messages, without affecting ordinary meetings. For example, “second element” becomes 「第二梯隊」 and “QRF” becomes 「快反部隊」. Terms can be tailored to your organization's usage and take effect immediately.
